Description of work with field recording
Very important topics in my work are soundscape, acoustic ecology and field recording. As a workshop facilitator I organize sound walks, listening exercises, and field recording - sound mapping projects. I regard field recording as a kind of performative activity and I am experimenting with creating transitions, in the process of recording itself. I am working towards deepening the practice and theory of field recording as something in between performance art and phonography.
